Here are some Named Locations in Fortnite where you can find an Upgrade Bench: Upgrade Benches can be found all over Battle Royale Island. Instead, visit an Upgrade Bench to level up your current weapon to the next rarity! You don't have to rely on loot luck to get a better weapon. These are Named Locations whose text is highlighted in yellow, indicating that the loot luck in the area is better than normal. The progress towards this quest will carry over across all your matches, but if you want to attempt to get this task done quickly, consider dropping into a "hot" location.

While you can talk to NPCs to either hire them or purchase items in exchange for Bars, the first time you talk to a Character in a match, they will give you one free item on the house. There are also Safes to be found all over Battle Royale Island, but the best place to find lots of Safes is in Brutal Bastion. The best place to find Cash Registers or Safes in Fortnite is MEGA City, but you can often find Cash Registers in gas stations as well. Loot Cash Registers or Safes to collect Gold Bars, which can be used to purchase weapons, consumables, and other items from Characters or Vending Machines. If something big is about to go down on Battle Royale Island, it might be a good time to hoard up on some gold. Interact with these spots, and you will place a seismograph!Ĭollect 100 Bars from Cash Registers or Safes Look out for the bluish outline of a seismograph device sitting on the roads. Travel to the bridge south of Slappy Shore, the road southeast of Frenzy Fields, and the road northeast of Shattered Slabs. There are three spots in Battle Royale Island near fault lines that are perfect for placing a seismograph. You can spot tents with compass logos marking these areas, along with plenty of construction equipment. Visit three of these excavation sites, found in the area surrounding Anvil Square.
