Neat and well maintained property, gives a worship/ spiritual environment.The amount of involvement and dedication shown by the coaches (Jayraj & Sham) during the surf lessons was truly amazing. I forgot that they were strangers to me at any point of time. As if not enough, all the coaches and inmates are extremely hospitable and warm people.

Situated in the pristine western ghats, right on the banks of Shambhavi river makes this ashram (Yes, it's an ashram and not a general resort such a delight) so full of positive vibes. To have a facility like theirs and the extremely skilled and patient instructors right here in Namma Karnataka is such a blessing. surf club for 9 days and took the 7 day surf lessons course. Management should include Cycling in the accommodation charges, just like Kayaking n paddling. I accepted to pay but even the price wasn't justified. But whenever I wanted to, it was available.Only negatives I had were but that couldn't replace the positives I had at Mantra- Hidden charges for Photographs and cycling.

So no instructors were required but the management made sure that I have one present all the times.- Private beach for surfing is a major plus.- The instructors are professional and a family at the same time.Kayaking n Paddling:- It's included in the accommodation cost for me but I couldn't do it daily. I was catching my own waves in the last 3 days. However, I felt 7 days was enough for me because I picked surfing quickly. Will definitely go there again n again.Surfing:- I booked for 10 days intermediate course. I stayed for 2 weeks there.The place has different vibe, I met so many awesome people and countless memories. reviews can be justified by visiting there.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to learn surfing or just have a wonderful time away from the hustle and bustle of the monotonous city life. I was able to get up on the surf board on day 1 itself and that’s all thanks to the great coaching provided.
The instructors are professional and encourage you to get better at whatever you choose to do. It’s perfectly situated on the back waters of Mulki and is a 5 min boat ride from a private beach where all the lessons take place. Apart from the wonderful people you meet, there’s a lot of positivity and peace in the surroundings. There are rooms on the property which you can rent out and the meals provided are very homely. You can even rent cycles and go around the town if you’d like. It’s a beautiful ashram that provides yoga, Ayurvedic therapies, surf and SUP lessons. They build a sense of a community within the premises and end up creating bonds with everyone you meet and interact with. The people are warm, welcoming and friendly.
